So much Destruction

So as I was finishing this ink wash drawing I had a revelation- It’s not often in life that we achieve our dream goals. Sometimes we get pretty close. I draw for a living which is pretty sweet but when I was 15 I thought I’d be living the high life drawing only monsters and comics. My tastes have changed since I was 15- I like superheroes and really like monsters but I’ve got other things that I that I like draw more.. ok, maybe not more than monsters. To the point- I don’t think this is my best drawing, but I guarantee you, if you showed this to my 15 year old self he would clearly say I have satisfied all of my arty aspirations and can now glide on my skills. Which is pretty sweet to think about.
